I absolutely love this place! I eat here almost every weekend. The food is fantastic, and the restaurant is always clean. I deducted two stars from the service rating because there’s often a long wait for takeout orders, and ordering can be a bit challenging, even for English speakers trying to communicate in Spanish. I’m not sure why that continues to be an issue after all these years. However, I gave back one star for service because they are very accommodating when it comes to special requests.
I've been coming here for breakfast for the past 10 years, and it never disappoints! The food is absolutely delicious, and the owner is incredibly nice. I've never had a bad meal; I go almost every Sunday to cure my hangover with a bowl of menudo. The barbacoa, carne guisada, refried beans, and papas con queso are always amazing! Just a heads up, they close early—around 2 PM—so be sure to visit for breakfast or lunch.
The food looked appealing but lacked flavor. I ordered menudo and breakfast tacos with both of their salsas, and unfortunately, they were not enjoyable. To make matters worse, they overcharged me and gave me the wrong order. The menudo was okay, though. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.

This restaurant is fantastic for what they specialize in—tacos! The carne guisada and homemade tortillas are incredible. Being family-owned, they keep things straightforward, but it's the food that truly stands out.
My best friend and I enjoyed the huevos rancheros with carne guisada and refried beans. We also ordered a side of potatoes, and everything was incredibly delicious. The beef was juicy and tender!
The Coke was unavailable, and the cashier didn't offer to refill it. The Dr Pepper tasted flat. However, the carne guisada was excellent. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 4 out of 5.
