After reading other great reviews we decided to try this restaurant. As others say, it is located in a residential area that is pretty close to the center. Very local and the food was authentic and delicious. After visiting other touristy restaurants, it was quite refreshing. The vibe was friendly and since it was a family owned business, although the staff could not speak perfect english, they were very welcoming. Definitely recommend if you are visiting Braga!!
My family and I were visiting Braga today. We were looking for a restaurant to eat lunch and walking ten minutes away from the center of the city we found a hidden gem. Tasquinha do Fujacal is a restaurant with delicious food, good service, and has good prices. We were very happy with the meal and the friendly environment. We recommend it 100%.
It's quite a place: very hidden among some blocks of flats from roughly 80s but it has a very homely and local feel to it and lovely staff. The food is also very homely and the selection is rather modest but some local specialties were very interesting just don't expect much more than a great and interesting atmosphere and a nice homely meal!
During our stay in Braga we have decided to try this restaurant. We had great expectations due to high ranking. The food quality is extremely poor and the average dish seems to to be just a lot of quantity. The desert was full of whipped cream and there was no fruit at all. One more thing, the location is not the best at all. Book a table now
I went there for lunch, friendly staff. Local guests and vibe. The waiter tried to explain the menu to me and i chose a full menu consisting of soup, rice and beans with fresh fried sardines and cod croquettes house wine coffee and dessert. Overall nice and fresh food. Good to try local homemade food.
During our Camino path me and my husband found ourselves in this restaurant . The food quality is really low and the place is not renovated at all and seems very old. Very disappointed for the rating because we had high expectations.
