During weekdays Tastau offers a daily buffet (whose price went from 9 EUR/pers to 10 EUR/pers) with the customer being offered various dishes to choose from, such as sopa mallorquina, chicken and noodles soup, meatballs soup, paella, tumbet, frito mallorquin, fish seafood dishes, (sometimes) honeyed lamb chops, salads, fruits and cakes. The food is OK, with some dishes quite good, while others way too greasy and oily for a non-Mallorquin customer. But overall, a nice option if you want to eat fast and to have several dishes to choose from, at a decent price. They are opened till 17:00, although they take-away store (located next-door) stays open till 21:00 (9 PM).
As we live nearby, we went to eat here or bought takeaway food from their next-door store many times, especially during workdays when we wanted a quick but tasty meal, but we weren't in the mood to cook or go to a fancier place. The daily buffet (during weekdays) is 9 EUR for adults and 5.5 EUR for children. Although there isn't a broad portfolio of dishes, the food has a homemade Mediterranean taste, similar with what you would be offered in a typical Majorcan kitchen. The takeaway store has a way larger selection of majorcan dishes, ranging from fishes, seafood up to snails, veal, lamb and meat and vegetable stews.
Nunca he probado la comida por lo que no puedo opinar, lo que sí puedo destacar es la atención de las camareras que me sirven casi cada mañana mi desayuno, tanto Ana como Laura son súper agradables y atentas y el café buenísimo, con ellas te sientes como en casa.
Hemos ido tres personas a comer el buffet, y nuestra opinión es que la calidad/precio y la variedad de los platos es buena, teniendo en cuenta el precio que es de 10'90 euros, incluyendo el agua y una copa de vino (totalmente recomendable) Volveremos.

Conozco este restaurante hace ya muchos años, vivo en Sóller pero voy de vez en cuando y ahun sigue habiendo el mismo personal de hace años, me encanta el servicio y la comida, las camareras son amables y un trato familiar,muchas GRACIAS!
POSITIVO: ubicación, relación calidad precio . NEGATIVO: El personal debería esmerarse un poco en ser simpático con todo el mundo y no con algunos en particular.
Las camareras del tastau son muy amables y tienen muy buen servicio cara el público.
