fantastic first experience! my first experience with Indian food was great. the court I had was called malai kofta and it was out there. very comforting, but a new taste for my palette. it was smooth and creamy but very substantial. I also tried two different types of filled nan, the zilantro and twirl type and the kind. both were amazingly so warm and fluffy.

India has been my favorite restaurant for 20 years. It has the BEST cleanest food, most delicious all around. Probably my favorite providence restaurant. The service is always super attentive and kind. And the ambiance is always perfect. It’s great for a night out AND a family atmosphere. All around, my favorite.

What a great Indian Resturant! We went super hungry they were about to close not only they accommodated us by gave us fresh warm food with very welcoming atmosphere. I was impressed with flavors and preparations. Simple aloo parantha was so special. What a great experience! Highly recommend it…

the samosas were good, not extremely crispy, but if they had a somewhat greasy samosa w good filling it was delicious. the herbal curry was not impressive, it had heat, but not necessarily much taste. I would come back for the samosas, but maybe not for the curry. Book a table now

Fantastic, reliable flavors in a cozy family restaurant. The service is so warm you feel right at home. Standout favorites are the lamb biryani and saag paneer. I make paneer at home and I'd still go there to eat theirs. Kid-friendliness: Family style restaurant

The food is fine. The selection of beers is large, but not really interesting. The service is fast and excellent. There is parking in a reasonable location on the street. Close to other useful places Trader Joe's, cafes, bridge, park and more.

Lunch buffet was great!! I’m so glad there’s an Indian buffet in Rhode Island now. It’s a small, curated selection of all the essentials. Everything was so tasty and authentic and delicious. Couldn’t be happier and I can’t wait to come back!

Taste of India is a gem of a neighborhood restaurant hands down the best Indian food in Providence! Their cooking is so flavorful, from the korma to the butter chicken to the palak paneer. Book a table now

This was my first time experiencing Indian cuisine. I honestly was not sure if I would enjoy it, but I did. I had the butter chicken with the plain nan and a mango lassi to drink.
