UPDATE: I haven't been here in a while because I moved further away but I was in the area last week and was really craving the food and to my surprise, I was disappointed. I didn't see the same familiar face that always greeted us before so I asked if the place had been sold and was told no. I soecifically asked for the gentleman we were familiar with and I was told he is the owner and was in the back so that gave me a little peace of mind. Best Indian food in the state of Virginia. It would be a 5 star review but they will give you a half portion if you order the food online or over the phone. So I'd suggest going in person. Definitely way over priced if you order online or the phone. I think they think nobody would notice it. They started doing this some time during the pandemic and the practice never stopped. In person? Totally worth it. Order online? Probably just don't. Save your money on that front. You're literally being robbed.
I typically use Doordash for my orders, but it has become quite pricey, so I decided to do takeout over the phone instead. The customer service was excellent, both on the phone and during pickup. I ordered my usual butter chicken and garlic naan, which are always fantastic. My only small issue is that when I order butter chicken through Doordash, it usually comes with regular naan and rice. However, this time it only came with rice, but at least I ordered a side of garlic naan separately.
The dish on the plate tasted quite bland, and upon inquiring, I found out that they used Rice-A-Roni. I have had this particular dish at the Indian bazaar in Fairfax, VA before, and it was much more flavorful there. However, I am willing to give this place another chance. That being said, I was disappointed to find out that they did not serve Thums Up cola. A genuine Indian restaurant would never miss out on Thums Up Cola. It appears that this place is a mere imitation of the real deal.

We've been visiting Taste of Tandoor for many years now, and it remains an outstanding Indian restaurant in Prince William County! We particularly enjoy the Butter Chicken and the Chaat Papri appetizer. Their vegetarian options are also quite tasty!
Ordered delivery. Half the food didn’t come with the included rice and none came with the included naan. The most expensive meal with the least food ever. Also the okra was half raw and barely edible and the butter chicken was just ok
I ordered the chart and chicken curry, and the only thing I can say is that it was very spicy with no salt at all. I feel like I wasted my money and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Shahee paneer, chicken vedupu was excellent. Momos would be better if they steamed more, but they were tasty. Will definitely go back to taste some more varieties of vegetarian.
