We were close to the Spanish border so thought wed take a road trip through the pyrenees, into Spain for some lunch. Bossost was where we chose to stop and after a short walk, opted to stop at Urtau. We were unsure what the etiquette was so gingerly walked inside, where we were invited to enjoy Tapas and beers. The individual tapas items were beautifully presented and very keenly priced meaning that 2 people were very happy for a little under €30, including 3 beers. There was something for everyone, too, from fish to meats and various other delectable options.
Habiamos ido cantidad de veces a la taverna Urtau de Bossost, y siempre habiamos salido contentos. Este pasado fin de semana no podemos decir lo mismo. No sé si la empresa ha cambiado de propietarios, pero han cambiado la carta y la calidad nos parecio que habia bajado mucho. El trato además deja mucho que desear. Siempre nos parecia una buena opción para comer barato y bien, y más teniendo en cuenta qur cierran la cocina tarde. A partir de ahora tendremos que valorar si seguir optando por Urtau, o eliminarlo de nuestra lista de restaurantes
the tavern urtau de bossòst was the second to open in 2001. this tavern, offers pintxos like the others in the chain, but its enclave makes it unique. located in the square of the city, in an area of little traffic of vehicles and joto in front of the church of the village of bossòst, make this tavern one of the best places to eat or eat, both in family and among friends.
Para no perdérselo. Muy buena relación calidad/calidad. Comida muy buena acompañada de un servicio muy amable y eficiente. No os perdáis los torreznos l el tiramisú de 10. Hemos pagado 45€ entre dos. Precio muy razonable.

I enjoyed my experience here, very tasty, fatty steak, just what I wanted, the staff were lovely. Amazing cheese cake to finish, I could of stayed longer, perhaps for dinner but was in a bit of a rush.
Just set off from the main road, this is THE place to stop for lunch/tapas. Estrella Damm is the beer. Popular with bikers and cyclists, with plenty of space around.
Pequeño restaurante con terraza al lado de la iglesia... Camareros atentos en todo momento... La comida riquisima.. Caracoles y olha aranesa espectacular!!
