service is always fantastic at the Burlington location. not happy with the menu change on the nachos and the Dessert selections. many of the products are a bit sharp and I can't get sharp! I love the tavern, but these little changes make it harder to come back. in the winter you made chowder that was delicious and now there is no supper selection. please bring back the old nachos and consider them suppe or chowder for the winter!
The entire experience was made special and memorable by our wait staff named DJ. He was thoughtful, patient and kind. His recommendations were satisfying and his level of service met this demanding patron. DJ is a wait staff person at the Burlington Tavern in the Sqaure that should receive praise.
Food was very good though fewer choices for main courses than previously. Friday night is not a good time for older folks because the noise level was off the chart. Multi television screens available for sports aficionados. We enjoy the rewards!
Place was warm, welcoming and bustling with good vibes...our waitress was thorough and genuine, and the portions were plentiful and delicious...great anniversary lunch for us on Nov 13 for sure
