When the bill arrived, we were shocked to find that we were charged $75 for a margarita tower instead. I kindly explained to the waiter that this was not what we had ordered, and I asked if he could adjust the bill. The waiter acknowledged his mistake and confirmed that we didn’t order the tower, but insisted we still had to pay for it since we had consumed it. I chose not to pursue the matter further as it seemed unnecessary, but I was very disappointed that we were charged $75 for something we did not order. Additionally, the waiter was quite inattentive throughout the evening. We only saw him when we first placed our orders and not again until we received the bill. We also ordered nachos...

Disappointing Experience.I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the recent service I received at your establishment, specifically on a Friday at approximately 7:10 PM. I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention in the hope of improving future customer experiences.According to your website, the bar 's closing time is stated as 8:00 PM. With this information in mind, I arrived at the bar at 7:10 PM, assuming I would still be able to enjoy a drink before closing. However, I was met with a closed gate and received unwelcoming looks from your staff upon entering. What added to my disappointment was the manner in which I was addressed by one of your staff members....

I commute to work every day, and my mid-journey stop is South Station where I wait for my next train. My favorite part of the day is stopping by the Tavern for a beer and a bite to eat. The new burger on the menu could easily be described as gourmet—it's simply fantastic! You can never go wrong with a great burger. The rest of the food is equally impressive, from the chicken Caesar salad to the clam chowder and the pizza. These simple yet delicious dishes can really recharge your energy for the rest of your travels or serve as a highlight of your day. The staff is exceptional, particularly the manager Tim, who takes pride in delivering the best customer service possible. The Tavern is an exc...

A great place to eat if waiting for your next train or want something quick before heading off to your hotel… And the prices are TRAVELER FRIENDLY!!! TSQ is not here to break your pockets like most transportation hub eateries… The portions could be a little bigger but to be honest the portions are enough if waiting for a train or bus that you don’t have to worry about a To Go box. They also had the BEST guacamole I have ever had in a long time for a small amount of money…I might have to grab and early train next time just for an excuse to eat there! ??? This is a small spot inside South Station. The menu has great choices for drinks, it can get pretty packed with all the travelers and their belongings but if you're able to find a seat or a stool at the bar, it's worth it. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. If you're waiting for a train or bus, definitely stop and grab a drink at Tavern in the Square.

Great place to just sit and have a drink while waiting for your train. It tries to feel like a bar but there is no mistaking that you are in the middle of a train station, and there is even a track and schedule board hanging behind the bar. Overall I enjoyed myself and got to my train on time. I did not rate food because I just got a drink and my drink was good.

They're nice enough. I'd avoid the salsa. I asked for some with chips and it was all liquid. No solid matter at all. The server said that WAS their salsa, which doesn't seem what salsa is meant to be to me. He brought extra guacamole without me asking so that was an effort to make up for the salsa.

If you need to kill an hour before catching a train, this is the place for you. Large portions, surprisingly tasty nachos, and a large live feed of the arrivals and departures board.Wheelchair accessibility: While there are accessible tables, space is tight Book a table now

Great spot for a quick drink and snack while waiting for your train. The pizza is more akin to flatbread than traditional pizza. However, the buffalo wings were fantastic!
