The hostess was very friendly, the waitress was honest and pleasant, but the lack of self awareness by the other staff killed the 3 star vibes I was feeling. The food was okay nothing too exciting, but what stood out the most was towards the end of our meal, we could hear the owner/manager complaining about this and that which really tells me a lot about the integrity of the place. Overall, I had a great dining experience! The food was delightful, with standout dishes like the Taverne Chocolate Decadence, which was rich and indulgent, the refreshing Brussel Sprout Salad, and the Jr Marinated Steak Tips that were perfectly seasoned. The service was attentive and friendly, contributing to the pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant, which was lively yet comfortable. Definitely worth the visit!
Our server was friendly, but one of us ordered a vodka gimlet up with ice on the side, and it was served with a cherry on ice—definitely not how a gimlet should be made. I ordered a BLT, which was decent; it’s hard to go wrong with a BLT. However, the others ordered the Delmonico steak, which was just average, and one party member asked for the pasta primavera, which came swimming in a flavorless, buttery oil.
Overall, it was a disappointing dinner for one of us and just mediocre for the others. We decided not to stay for dessert, which is unfortunate because our server and the other diners deserve a better experience.
The burger was fantastic! I can't recall its name, but it had brisket on top, and it was delicious. We also ordered a nacho platter for the table, which was equally tasty. My cousin tried the fish tacos, which were huge and looked really good. The beer was fresh, while the margarita leaned a bit on the sweeter side. Overall, I would definitely return here. We tried this place twice since we moved to thw area. We personally have tried to eat throughout the entire menu eventually. The food is good, wait staff is attentive and the old time tavern feel is a nice change in ambiance. We had the ragoon dip, nachos, and egg rolls and loved it.
Have somehow never stopped by, and I'm so glad I did! Staff was super friendly and welcoming, service was exceptional, beer was ice cold, and the food was reasonably priced and delicious. We will definitely add this spot to our rotation! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

The food and service are excellent. There's a fully stocked bar with plenty of choices. Although parking can be difficult, it's definitely worth the effort.
Great food, great service. We eat at the Tavern every Friday night. Never had a bad meal. Always take company here.
