I had an excellent dinner in this tavern. it opens up to late, which is good. I took the menu of the day, consisting of an entrance, main dish and desert. the entrance was four pieces of fried Camembert cheese, with an salat of green salat. and ham the main dish was a pavé de cabillaud, which is the filet of cod white fish. it was excellent and succulent. when you go to this tavern, try this fish. they also have a beautiful white wine, served in a pichet that is a small container for wine, from 250 or 500 cc. their apple cake, with vanilleeis, was perfect. the price was 29 euro, including. if in roar, do not hesitate to lunch or dinner there. it is only a few minutes walk from the cathedrale...

My friend and I had a wonderful meal recently at Taverne St. Amant. We were looking for an authentic down-home place to eat and mix with the locals, and we found it here, tucked away down a side-street from the main hub-bub of the town....There are tables outside literally on the street, which is a very quiet sidestreet. There were two or three different fixed price menu options, and the food (and wine) was delicious. This is a family run place, and the service is excellent. We even had a chat with the friendly owner before the place got busy. If I'm ever in Rouen again, I would happily return!

we really liked this little bar/restaurant. small, dark and very old (pokey on good wise.) really beautiful beer (martins,) we tried to find all week through Belgium and normandie, then just stumbled! eating was delicious not for...the subtle hearts and certainly not for someone with a weak heart! very generous portions, extremely rich, really delicious and cheap, what is not to like? very friendly and efficient service. worth a visit. we'll be back.

my teenage daughter and I arrived at 18:30 a.m., and we were the only customers to the time. the restaurant was very crowded by the time we left. the owner was darling and helped us to choose what to order – welsh cheddar fries and bark bourguignon. everything was wonderful and was a lot to eat (we did not come near to finish it) the inner of the restaurant is charming, and it is one of our favorite places that we visited during our stay.
