Taza Deli serves some of the finest sandwiches around. They offer the BEST sourdough rolls outside of San Francisco: perfectly crunchy on the outside without being overly hard, and wonderfully soft and flavorful on the inside. The meats, spreads, and vegetables are exceptional. Without a doubt, these are the best sandwiches on the Mid-Peninsula. The family running the deli are true sandwich artisans and fantastic individuals: polite, friendly, welcoming, helpful, and always positive. On a warm day, I had a craving for a sundae, so I searched for a nearby spot to satisfy my desire. I stumbled upon Taza Delicate Café and decided to step inside. Upon entering, I was warmly welcomed by a friendly staff member at the ice cream counter. I opted for a Rocky Road and Vanilla sundae topped with nuts. The service was smooth, and the sundae was absolutely delightful. I highly recommend this charming neighborhood café and deli to anyone! I can't wait to go back.
Chill, local-style deli with extremely good sandwiches. I ordered a toasted Italiano. Hella tasty, and the veggies were still perfectly crisp after the drive home. Think I demolished it in under 10 minutes. 10/10 will come again when I'm in the area.
The Eggplant Parmesan sandwich was pretty good, the sourdough bread was fresh and came straight from the Boudin Bakery. The prices were fantastic and the staff were friendly. The service was quick as well. We would go back.

I've traveled throughout the U.S. and try to sample sandwiches wherever I go. The Overload is one of my top five in the nation. Easy to see how Taza Deli is loved in San Mateo County.
All of the sandwiches are delicious!! Cant go wrong. Ive had the Turkey Avocado, the Maple street sub, and now the Applewood Smoked Ham! I recommend trying them ALL
