This place has the most amazing view where the outdoor garden backs directly onto the lake. Giant beautiful boats go past while you sip of great coffee received by great service. It When we arrived it was raining and the outdoor part was closed. I asked if we could go outside anyway and the waitress dried all the table and chairs for us which was very nice. We have had cakes from here takeaway and they are delicious but if you have the time it's definitely worth expericing the lake views. 5
I came here three separate times during my week trip because of how amazing the food was. The menu is limited, but SO delicious. I highly suggest trying the burger, the meat puffs and/or the pulled pork. The staff is amazing as well! They speak German and English. They can even provide you with and English menu if that is your native tongue. You can sit inside or right by the water. The outside seating has a HUGE umbrella to keep it nice and cool. What a wonderful place
Looking for a nice lace to enjoy an ice cream, we decided to stop at Café Dahinden. We all had Meringue glacée with various sorts of ice. The café also had various very appealing pastries, which we unfortunatley didn 't taste. We were lucky to enjoy...the terrace of the café, which is relatively big. The service in Dahinden was quick, very friendly and of good advice. I would defintely recommend you to pay them a visit if you are passing by!

Very good food and fast service. The view from the terrace it's amazing. A big plus because you can find the place still opel while all the other restaurants around Weggis are closed.
Very nicely located terrace... located directly on the lake... The waitress saw us 3 times. It was only when I called her that she came... But it's still worth visiting this cafe
Rahm the cherry cake has taken off. The view in the garden trãssli makes everything go away, and the environment is also ok for spending time by the lake. Very good service

We both tried cheesecake for the first time having confirmed it was closer to quiche that to pie. It was excellent as was the setting and service.
