Teazzi is one of my favorite boba shops due to their Oolong tea. Everyone always has their favorite boba drinks, so telling someone to get the Oolong tea when they prefer a lighter green tea makes me cautious. I will say that if you like a stronger tea, I go with the deep roast oolong milk tea, the honey amber oolong milk tea, and the milk tea duo. For those of you that prefer toppings heavy drinks, I've been told that their house special is amazing. The only reason that they are a 4 and not a 5 is because the staff could use a little more training AND they don't use the gift card here. The flushing and bayside locations both accept and reload the gift card.
So I was on the line for 15mins and ordered a warm milk tea with jelly. Five mins later, they came to me and said sorry, we can’t add jelly in the warm tea, can you make changes? I said sure, I’ll change to another one and make up the price difference. Then they said, you need to re join in the line and make payment so we can place the order for you. I get it but I questioned why I need to wait on the line for another 15mins for your mistake? The girl responded with a terrible attitude saying “but you can’t cut the line!” So, the whole process took me like 35-40mins to get my tea without even a apologize. Horrible attitude and customer service.
Ordered the house special tea. The oats are a cool touch, but the execution is poor. The boba is decent, chewy and soft. The tea is average. The service is terrible. They take orders and make drinks in batches. If there are too many orders, they will make the line wait. Definitely worth a try. The space is severely under utilized, the large seating area should at least have tables. If not, then a larger barista station would be helpful to speed up the service.Overall, it is good, but wouldn’t go out of my way for it. If they opened a location nearby me, I would think about it. I prefer I’Milky nearby.
When I brought this to the attention of the staff member who took my order, she casually dismissed my concern, claiming that’s just how their latte is served. I asked her if their lattes are just cold, and she confirmed, acting as though I was the one misunderstanding things. Apparently, I was supposed to infer that "latte" meant "iced latte" without them actually including that word. No, ma'am, an iced latte is clearly different from a traditional latte, which should include steamed milk. Teazzi Tea Shop, it’s time to update your menu and provide better training for your staff! The boba was to small for a brown sugar to be one size and it’s a small for 6.26 is crazyI would honestly go for cakes5/10 boba at least for the brown sugar flavorIt taste more like milk then brown sugarOne thing I say is the boba were amazing like that was one thing that I likeMy feed back to the place is to make a larger size for like brown sugar boba drinksAnd put more brown sugar syrup to give it a stronger taste which would of definitely been a 8/10 and maybe a 5starBut decoration and all other stuff ?looks amazing
Hands down one of the best boba places in NYC. The tea flavours are so good and you know they use quality tea when you can’t fall asleep at night after the caffeine. They make drinks surprisingly fast so we never have to wait longer than 5 mins for our order. Definitely priced higher due to quality but recommend you giving it a try!
The Honey Amber Oolong Milk Tea is absolutely delicious! It never fails to brighten my day. It's incredibly refreshing and full of flavor!
