I then reached out to Grubhub, but they told me since the restaurant uses their own drivers, they couldn't send someone to pick it up for me. Frustrated, I called the deli again and asked to speak to the owner, who claimed they don’t deliver to my address. This surprised me because they’ve been delivering here for the last two years! The owner mentioned that they had asked Grubhub to remove their listing. I understood where they were coming from, but I expressed that they could have notified me when my order came through to let me know it wouldn’t be delivered. This place serves the best breakfast sandwiches in Bergen County. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu—everything is phenomenal. My personal favorite is the Taylor Ham and Cheese on a hard roll, which has just the right amount of each ingredient. However, the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese, along with all their specialty breakfast sandwiches, are equally delicious! For lunch, I highly recommend the Goomba or the Godfather; they're both fantastic! And don’t miss out on the seasoned fries—they're a must-try. The staff and atmosphere here are excellent as well.
A great deli. Patrick and Barbara do a great job. Their food is awesome. My wife and I also tried their catering and it is was fantastic. We had the Lemon chicken which was wonderfully flavored and so tender you could cut the chicken with a plastic fork. The Eggplant Parm was also incredibly tasty. Thank you Pat, Barbara and staff. It was great and our guests raved about the food.
I used to live just down the street, and I practically grew up at this place. As a kid, I would ride my bike there, and as an adult, I drove over frequently. Now that I live further away, I haven't found a local deli that comes close to the greatness of Ted's. I still find myself dreaming about their sandwiches and fries from time to time. The food is truly good. Their French fries are a true delight but not for those with salt issues... Lol... Their sandwiches and breakfast are straight up good. Problem happens when you go when everyone else does and you could be waiting for 30 minutes. But it can be worth the wait.
Excellent food and friendly staff! I make it a point to visit once a week. The lines can get long, but the wait is definitely worth it. Be sure to try the fries!

Sloppy Ted Special Board...Hot pastrami and Swiss on rye with coleslaw and Russian dressing. Got 2 on a hero instead of on rye. Get it!
