Tei An in Dallas offers the best Japanese food and freshest fish in the area. The menu is full of unique options that are all delicious, including the seaweed salad, sashimi, and crispy Tei An shrimp. The hot stone wagyu is a must-try, as it melts in your mouth. Don't skip dessert, as the black honey ice cream and sesame mousse are seriously incredible. Tei An is one of the only Soba Houses in the country and possibly the only one in Texas, so be sure to try their soba noodles. The staff is attentive and accommodating, making every experience fun and enjoyable. Overall, I love this place!

Food is good but service is not. The waitress just kept asking us to order more throughout our stay, though we were obviously full. And she also mentioned if we didn’t order now we may not order later since there would be other guests with reservations, and she said that at the beginning. We shared an osamake, and ordered Uni 4 ways, tomahawk, bone marrow. While she was the only waitress who only gave us one set of utensils for the osamake. To be fair, there was a guy that’s nice, but not our main waitress.

I ordered the shrimp tempura and soy udon. The tempura was absolutely delicious, with a crispy batter and five large, flavorful shrimp. The udon noodles were cooked perfectly and the dashi broth had the right amount of saltiness, with a generous portion of soup. I was also pleased that I didn't feel thirsty afterwards. The servers were attentive and friendly. We will definitely return to this restaurant!

Food is definitely ordinary and over priced. Ordered the omakase, bone marrow and the tamahawk steak. To two asian tongues, the taste is not quite up to standard. Definitely fresh ingredients but the seasoning is cliche. The bone marrow is the most interesting of them all but even that is just interesting at most. Plus, we get nothing but a candle for a birthday event. Food: 3 Book a table now

The restaurant has a cozy ambiance with just the right amount of lighting to help you unwind and feel comfortable. It almost feels like you're in a tranquil retreat. The seafood is exceptionally fresh and delicious. The staff is attentive and strikes the perfect balance between offering assistance and giving you space when preferred.

The handmade soba is divine, and the sushi and sashimi are top-notch. The chilean sea bass is my favorite and a must-try. Impeccable service and a serene atmosphere complete the experience. Highly recommended for a memorable meal. Service: Dine in Food: 5
