Das Restaurant ist IN der Sportanlage, dementsprechend hat es mich viel mehr an einen "Spunten" als ein gemütliches Restaurant erinnert. Die Aussicht ist mässig, rundherum wird bis Spät Tennis gespielt was nicht besonders angenehm während man Znacht ist und einen schönen Abend haben möchte.Die Bedienung war unsympathisch und forsch. Der Chef hat vor den Gästen ziemlich laut mit den Angestellten gesprochen. Das Essen (Mezze) war gut. Zum Schluss haben wir eine Rechnung bekommen, wo nur die Summe draufstand, und keine gewöhnliche Rechnung zum nachkontrollieren. Die Begründung war eine Umstellung des Systems. Alles in allem würde ich nicht mehr dort essen gehen.
The food is one of the best one could find in Zurich in the category of Turkish food even though I would have higher expectations if I was dining in Turkey.The quality-price ratio is very good: Nice food, nice ambient (looks nice, nice view of Zurich and tables are not too close to each other as opposed to many Zurich restaurants), good service and cheaper than most places offering similar food quality.Even though I was there for dinner, I think it is a very nice place for brunch given the area and the view.
We went there with a group of friends. The food was super tasty and really big portions- which I have not experienced in Zürich so far! The price (26 per person for mezze) is totally worth the amount of food- it actually felt more like all you can eat! The view is also very nice. I can totally recommend this place, its worth a little trip a bit outside of the city center!
Junior zur Tennisstunde begleitet und kulinarisches Erlebnis gefunden. Speziell eingerichtetes, grosses und helles Lokal, mit integrierter Lounge. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Küche stark orientalisch geprägt. Ausgezeichnete Mezze und ein Traum von türkisch/arabischer Kaffee. Preise für Züribergverhältnisse absolut in Ordung. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Hausgemachter Mezze, geschmacklich hervorragend! Gemütliche, ruhige Terrasse mit Blick auf den Uetliberg. Das Restaurant befindet sich umgeben von Wald, unterhalb des Dolder, inmitten der Tennisplätze.Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und kompetent! Wir kommen wieder.
TEPE is located in the club house of the Sonnenberg Tenniscenter. Their speciality is Middle Eastern mezze. Portions are generous and the service is warm and welcoming. You will also find some Swiss dishes on the menu. A great place for casual lunch or dinner.
We have ordered just a regular chicken wrap after a tennis lesson, but it happened to be the best, the tastiest chicken wrap we have had in Zurich in 5 years. We are planning to come for an oriental dinner soon -- will update our impressions. Thank you !
