The greeter/ host was friendly, respectful and helpful. Our wait person, while adequate, seemed to be pretty done with our party of 2 at a certain point. There is a fine line a good wait person walks between timely, let 's move this along service, and causing diners to feel rushed. The smiles faded, and, well, I felt rushed towards the end, and in no way were we dawdling we both eat pretty rapidly. Benefit of the doubt, maybe they did not feel great . . . The food here tastes freshly made, but the quinoa fritters were more like non corn hush puppies with quinoa. The yogurt dressing needs a spark of spicyness IMO, and maybe the 'fritter as well. really a bizarre experience. it felt as if they had just opened and no one was trained. I had a 7 o'clock evening reservation, a little early at 18:50 o'clock arrived. the hostess said she had other reservations in front of us and would get us a table if you were available. I thought that was weird. we sat shortly after 19 clock and ordered a cheeseboard. it had the smallest pot of cheese I've ever seen. the escaped were good, we were black and chicken. we never got the stuffed brot that was disappointing. the manager tried to be busy, but seemed unclear. sweet ambiente, but the mood of the staff was out. don't go back.
At first the service was really friendly and prompt. Then they started asking to clear away plates while some were still eating. Then server asked if she could bring the check because there was another reservation waiting. We had an 11:30 reservation and it was not yet 12:30! I agreed to get the check, but indicted I was not pleased. When she came back with the check, she kind of apologized and said we did not have to leave then. The food was okay to good, but this left a bad taste.
It is no surprise that securing a table for Sunday brunch without a reservation can be challenging at this restaurant. I love the atmosphere and the welcoming service provided. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort. The menu boasts a unique variety of ingredients in their dishes. The Eggs Benedict, for example, features cauliflower and peppers, adding a spicy twist that sets it apart. I appreciate that none of the dishes were overly salty.

Lovely cafe restaurant in Bethesda full of beautiful plants and very original decor. Feels like a rather stylish European place. Food was healthy and very delicious. Lots of interesting ideas on the menu I want to try at home. Noise level a wee bit loud but we were sitting next to some shouters. A muchneeded addition to Bethesda
I’m in love with the place so much. The food was great. I ordered Benedict egg and grilled cheese and they were yummy! The service was good.
