We visited Terraza Sotavento as a family for lunch after a stroll along the beach and the park. It is a lovely little restaurant/bar which is semi-covered, with air conditioning hanging down and fans spraying a very fine mist. My wife had a cocktail called 'cotton candy ', which was in a plastic bag with twine tied around it and placed in a basket, wonderful to look at and tasted amazing. We stayed for lunch, had the steak sandwich which was superb and very filling. We all enjoyed a dessert too which were all decent. The service was... odd, and was probably my least favourite thing about the place, but I would happily visit again if in the area, if only to have a fabulous cocktail!
Nice open area with tables in sun or shade. We initially ordered from a sunny table, but decided it had become too hot and the waitress was happy for us to switch our order to another table under cover. The menu had a good selection of Tapas. My wife ordered pork loin with caramelized onions served on a toasted baguette which she said was delicious. My order of Beefburger (chose the meat quality upgrade) was cooked as ordered and is worth the slightly higher price. Service was friendly and food was served without any delay. I recommend this place for a relaxing lunch at the edge of the park.
Estuvimos la familia al completo, con mi pareja, los niños, junto a nuestros amigos Mariano y Belén. Carmelo el dueño, estuvo muy atento toda la velada, no puso unos mejillones en escsbeche y nos atendió maravillosamente. Los camarer@s muy serviciales. Algunos platos como la alcachofa salió fría, pero el resto de platos exquisitos. Risas y mejor ambiente! Saludos.
Great outdoor location in Parc Alfonso XIII with glass screens around. Interesting Spanish food, we had the menu del dia for lunch. Bread with ailoli, starter, main, desert, wine all for €15 each. Friendly service, good food, value for money. Definitely visit again.

Un chico muy majo Frank vino a mi mesa me llamó caballero de verdad la comida muy rápida bebida el chaval se le ve que se mueve más trabajadores a si de verdad vendría más veces solo por el caballero jajaja me alegro el dia
Es mi lugar favorito de Guardamar, para tomar algo que puede ser un simple café o cenar. Ambiente estupendo por rl enclave que tiene. Lo recomiendo!
