Evening ground and apologise in this magnificent 3* hotel on the canal...Manue, fred, here is my return of experience of my visit to your hotel on March 28. I am accustomed to this formula in the French lodges that have reserved me very nice surprises. at the loire hotel, the outdoor setting is promising. the welcome reserved for me is kind, accompanied by a shy smile. the room is irreproachable, decor and comfort are in harmony with the exterior appearance of the place and classification 3.* everything is fine. We wanted an overnight stay not far from Guedelon Mediaeval Castle (about 15 km). We were not disappointed. Room (Comfort Room) very clean and well facilitated; very grateful for air conditioning on such a hot day. Small balcony overlooking canal was a bonus. Luxury shower and separate WC. WIFI worked well. Charming host/owner who spoke good English and was abe to provide our Guedelon tickets (no extra charge). We opted to eat dinner, choosing a four course menu at 28 euros p.p. Other reviews were positive, so perhaps they were having an off day. The food was very ordinary and the prices were high. Why ask how we want our steaks cooked (medium) and then make all three of them well-done anyway? Three of us ordered strawberries for dessert but were later told that there were no strawberries left. I had half a lobster (over cooked) but no claw crackers were brought until we asked. This was lunch time on a quiet week day, so the staff were not under pressure. Very nice. We booked a family room for four, found ourselves in a gite! With kitchen, on 2 floors. Very good breakfasts! Friendly welcome. Very convenient parking, pleasant environment (if you except the view on the power station.... Price not much higher than a F1. Book a table now
Beautiful decoration, quality bedding, correct breakfast. Less: no shower or shower in the rooms with bathtub and I did not appreciate the restoration but it is a tasty story.... Overall Satisfactory Rooms: 4 Service: 3 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet
dishes and desserts are correct, but no more. We waited 40 minutes to order, frankly it was long. service was not very effective or attentive. for a hotel client, it can be convenient, but not the need to spend especially to taste the dishes.
