"A very nice decorated restaurant and a kind of food difficult to find in most restaurants of the northeast. Sweet and sour, roast and soft, different fruis and tastes. Prices are quite high, but...I think the place it is worth the visit."

Excellent restaurant with great artistic decor. We went there at our first night in the city and we couldn't avoid going again in the next night. Food is excellent and inspired. It serves traditional dishes in bistro style with a touch of high cuisine. Ingredients are fresh and service is very polite. It's a bit expensive when compared to other restaurants in the same street. If you are looking for a different experience in regional dishes (but a bit pricey), this is the place. If you are looking for traditional dishes, then stick to other restaurants in the area.Foi uma agradável surpresa o serviço e a excelente comida servida pelo Terreiro Bahia. Essa sem duvida foi a nossa melhor refeição...

This restaurant is set at the heart of the villa, is totally green (from the material used to build it, to the seafood and ingredients bought locally), the service is efficient and frirndly, snd food cooked by chef Tereza Paim is just great. And guess what: it is not that expensive either. Give this starred place a try and you won't regret it. A tip: the courses for two people can certainly satiate three if you order starters.

I've brought a short list of places where I should eat but this one was not on the list. A strong rain made us enter the place for a late lunch... It was a great and good surpriseThe food was exquisite and the service very good - and after 4 days here I would say that it might be the best place in town Try moqueca de camarao

Excellent food, good interpretation of the Bahia typical cousin, recommend trying the Moqueca (fish stew) with lobster. Prices are a little high but not very different from most of the the good restaurants. Add some pepper to the Moqueca to make it even more local. Enjoy.
