As a Brit in America, I've recently had some very disappointing experiences eating out which I've put down to post covid staffing issues, but Texas Roadhouse delivered exactly the authentic American eating out experience that I've long been looking for. Start to finish, it was great. The place was packed (always a good sign) but we were seated after only ten minutes and immediately served fresh baked rolls and drinks by our cheerfully professional server. I had ribs and loaded baked potato, plus green beans. Now, the ribs were the best I've ever eaten and the baked potato was certainly loaded, but what really surprised me most was how good the green beans were. That's quality! Our server and...

Texas Roadhouse is my favorite steak house. They put all the others who are at shame in the same price class. This special visit, we had the best waitress, Raychel. She often came by, made sure that our drinks were full, brought us small containers for potatoes and offered to go drinks. The manager also came by to make sure we get great service, which happens almost every time I have been there. I have always received the best service and food. I've never had a bad experience.

Every single thing was great. Loved the yeast rolls. The salad was fresh. The sweet potato was perfect and the steak was superb. Usually, my husband and I try to eat at local restaurants that are not part of a chain. Texas Roadhouse is going to have to be an exception. We went in at about 5:30 on a Friday night and had a 15 minute wait. By the time we left, there was a crowd waiting for tables. Our waiter was attentive and likable, but I didn't catch his name.

The food was excellent. The service was attentive, but it did take a while to receive our food (however, the place was packed). The only true negative was that we were beset by tiny ants crawling on both the menus (that are kept in a holder a fixed to the wall) and on our table. We were seated in a corner and the ants seemed to be localized to just our area. We informed our server who said that he would inform the management.
