The Texas Roadhouse is undoubtedly a top quality American steakhouse restaurant and is prominently known for offering delicious Texas Southwest cuisine style dishes!!! In October of 2021, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at the Texas Roadhouse, specifically the branch located in Poughkeepsie, New York. My wife and I both loved every moment of our experience at the Texas Roadhouse!!! Our experience was pleasant. Staff was attentive and super friendly. Management was constantly checking tables to ensure everyone was happy. Drinks were huge and only $6.25 for a very large sangria is relatively cheap. One steak was overcooked, but they remedied it right away and let us keep the old steak too. Good for steak tacos. Prices are reasonable compared to other higher end steak places. Atmosphere is a little loud, but that’s just how this place is, so like it or leave it.
If you go early enough no wait time is great! Amazing food, wonderful waiters and waitresses, and, entertainment! We have gone 4 times in the past year! I get the serloin with shrimp loaded mashed potatoes! My husband says the prime rib melts in your mouth! My 2 yr old loves the chicken strips! My teenager said the ribs were to die for! Plenty of food, always left overs! A must try! You won’t be disappointed.
The staff was fast kind and courteous the food was delicious fall off the bone ribs delicious !buttery mashed potatoes with gravy and delicious sweet corn with a nice large Coca-Cola wash it all down. I would suggest everybody to visit our Poughkeepsie Texas roadhouse delicious food with a great staff serving you!!!
