When I lived in Norfolk, there was a wonderful TGI Friday's in Norwich good food at reasonable prices, friendly staff, free wifi, and I would go there on average once or twice a month. The Halifax TGI Friday's is worlds apart, however and not in a good way. Went there today for the first time since moving to Halifax two years ago, and the first thing that shocked me was the prices especially the drinks! £4.50 for a can of pop, and over £6 for a single bottle of beer! The food, aside from the calamari, was nothing to wrote home about; the onion rings, which cost £6.30 for roughly seven rings, were fried to the point that they shattered as soon as my fork touched them, and I actually couldn't...
Nice food, relatively quiet surprisingly compared to say the Castleford/Escape one. Some options on the children’s menu not available. We were told prior to ordering which was fine. Service very good although repeatedly Referring to me as “mate’ and my partner as “luv” was not a problem Per se. I can understand it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Would return
Service was good. Food and portions were good but really expensive. Won't see me again due to prices. Definitely not value for money.
Had a lovely meal with my girlfriend and a great experience courtesy of Katie and Jacob, especially refilling our drinks super fast!
