I really enjoy Thai Express, but this location is a disappointing exception. When I asked for a glass of water, I was told they don’t have tap water, even though I could clearly see a tap behind the cashier. The beef in my dish was tough and full of gristle. I specifically requested my meal to be very spicy and stressed that it should be spicier than usual, but there was no chili at all. When I asked for it to be remade, I was just handed a bag of sriracha instead. On a positive note, the cook at the wok did a good job. I think they should be embarrassed about this branch.
If I could give zero star I would. The woman who works there as a manager is the most racist person I’ve ever met. She once told a client to go wash the dishes ‘cause the client in question was black. She’s always looking down on black doordashers asking if they have the right to be here. And when talking about her clients she always described them by their ethnicity or the color of there skin. I don’t understand how nobody is acting and doing something about this.
The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly and polite. They prepared our General Thai exactly how we requested, and even encouraged us to taste it first, assuring us that if we didn’t like it, they would remake it on the spot at no extra cost! The food was fresh, delicious, and satisfying. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was truly delightful! Thank you, everyone!
Great food and generous portions at reasonable prices, along with courteous staff. However, there are sometimes certain ingredients that you won’t find in the recipes at other Thai Express locations (for example, cilantro or bell peppers in fried rice), which alters the flavor we are accustomed to and can even create a completely different dish.
