Good food but the service impacted the overall experience. We were seated around 8:20, received our food around 8:30, and didn?t finish until 8:50. The restaurant closed at 9, but felt the immediate pressure to leave as soon as possible. When I mean as soon as possible I mean signing the check by 9:03. The waiter was hovering and waiting for us to sign our check as soon as he ran the card which was one of the major impacts to the overall experience. To the second point, while we were leaving, we used the bathroom to only find out that when we walked out, they shut off the hallway lights this was by 9:12. A one time visit.
I had not expected much when I visited La Grande, OR but wow this place was a highlight of my work trip! I love a good avocado curry and Thai Fresh Gardens has a fantastic!! Be careful with spices, since my was a bit too spicy on the level I usually order. If I'm ever back in town, I'm absolutely back!
Stop going for a quick lunch, nice place, but the Avacado Wraps lacked bean sprouts, cilantro and rice noodles, as detailed on the menu. Very expensive dish with all the missing ingredients.
This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants! The pad Thai is amazing. The staff was always super friendly. Very recommended!
