Returned to our favourite Thai eatery in Marrickville tonight - to find it was packed - the friendly staff welcomed us and ushered us to a table towards the back of the restaurant. Whilst reviewing the menu, another table of 6 and 5 respectively were seated so we ordered promply! The food and service here is faultless. Our entrée of fishcakes arrived promptly, was piping hot and delicious; and despite the two tables of 6 and 5 ordering before us, we did not endure a long wait period for our meals to start arriving. I would rate this restaurant 3.5 stars. The atmosphere is dimly lit and there was a wait to be seated in the dining room. Eating at the bar was fine, although it was noisy and the service was just average.
I had a mock meat stirrup and it was very good. very recommend to check out this beautiful restaurant, beautiful interior decorations and baptize options for vegan, vegetarian or omnis alike.
Top notch green curry. Best I've had outside Bangkok (better than the other Thai provinces even). Meat quality may be slipping but it's still far superior to anything else in Sydney.
