Total disappointment, I ordered a Thai red curry soup, it was very small and very expensive, and I asked for a portion of rice, they charged me for it but they didn't give it to me, apart from that they charged me 10CH more for administration costs and they don't even tell you when you place your order, they give discount, when I wanted to pay I saw a price and when I got the bill it turned out they had overcharged me, I will never go back in Order from this restaurant, what a scam.
This is a review for Thai Square at Clarastrasse, which opened recently. Delicious Thai food and the restaurant has a pleasant service and ambience, very cosy as it was formerly a traditional Swiss restaurant. The chicken satay starter came with a lovely peanut sauce dip. Thai red chicken curry was both spicy and and creamy, fried rice with chicken was equally good. Happy to pay another visit!
The menu had small symbols for the allergens, but there was a huge lack of variety. Only a dish and a sauce was gluten-free and the waitress was not very soothing for what her Allergen protocol was, but there was also a bit of a language barrier. I got the poke bowl with cherry sauce and it was refreshing, but the tofu could have been cooked more.
The food was very good. We particularly enjoyed the gyoza starter. The taste of the green curry is super delicious, but also very spicy. I would indicate on the menu that it is spicier and perhaps also offer a green curry that is not as spicy. The service was super friendly and the outside area was very nice. We'd love to come back ; Book a table now
Pad Thai tasted good. Unfortunately, the noodles were a bit cold in contrast to the rest of the dish. Duck was well done and also very well seasoned. Priced a little more expensive for the small quantity served.
