I ordered food from this restaurant yesterday, and it was not as good as it used to be. The Tom Kha Kai soup was basically just coconut milk with some vegetables, lacking the rich gravy and amazing flavor it usually had. The curry I ordered was supposed to be less spicy than the soup, but it turned out to be very hot instead. It seems like they may have mixed up the spice levels. The complimentary rice was burnt and there was very little of it. This used to be my favorite place, but now I'll have to find another. Overall, the service was poor, the food was mediocre, and the atmosphere was decent. Take out for dinner cost between $50-100 per person. Food: 3, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 4.
We had a great Thai dining experience at this restaurant. Ordering from our phones at the table was convenient and easy, with dishes labeled from 1 to 7 to indicate spiciness levels. The vegans in our group had multiple options to choose from. However, the service was a bit slow, and we were quite hungry by the time our food finally arrived. The appetizers came out at the same time as our main dishes, and one item was missing. The staff member handling our table was quick to address the issue and resolve it.
A beloved place in my neighborhood. Yes I could show their amazing food but it would never do it justice. I came WAY early for my take out order and they brought me a glass of water while I wait. Yes the food’s awesome. Spicy levels exactly to your preferences. Everything can be customized to your liking. Blah Blah Blah. In the end it’s a Maplewood gem that takes care of their people. Nuff said.
This Thai restaurant is not the greatest I've ever been to, but it's definitely not the worst either. It's a bit strange that they only accept phone orders even for dine-in customers. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 4, the service a rating of 5, and the atmosphere a rating of 4.
