The Ace is a place you don't want to miss. Stumbled upon it as we were staying locally at an Airbnb and wanted some brunch. The establishment is small, but wouldn't want it any other way, as it only adds to it's vintage charm and intimate atmosphere. Ordered the Duck Confit Wild Mushroom toast along with the Ace Benny with smoked salmon and added avocado, neither of which disappointed. My partner affirms it was the best Eggs Benedict he's ever had. Our server Asa, was kind, charismatic and accommodating all while providing exceptional service. In summary an absolute gem and looking forward to visiting again the next time we're in town!

The atmosphere is great in here. Very chill vibes and the service was really good. Would have given this place a 3 if it were not for the above. My burger tasted completely burnt. They may have wanted to sear it on each side but it was such a thick burn so I was pretty disappointed because its all I could taste. We also had the steak, and although it was cooked very well it was too salty so again, it ruined the taste. For the price we paid we were pretty bummed about our food and we wish we would have said something there but didn't want to ruin our night.

Had this place saved in my “wanted to go” for a while. Happened to be in the neighbourhood and decided to pop in for a quick bite after a game of tennis. Was completely blown away. Their eggplant dish is soooo amazing. I highly recommend. It’s smoky, juicy and very well balanced. Wait for pita!Their burger is great. The bun is 11/10, meat is perfectly cooked and fries are delish. It was a bit too earthy for me and felt like a slice of juice, cold, fresh tomato would have a been a great addition. But it’s me.Didn’t try drinks. Service is ?

I read so many positive review about this restaurant and about delicious food here.I chose this place for celebrating anniversary. My husband and I were really disappoint.Food was just okay, not more. I ate chicken and it was like chicken from Costco not more. However, the most disappoint thing was that my husband found HAIR inside his burger. It's awful.Waiters said sorry and crossed out burger from our bill, but still I can't say that he was truly sorry about situation. He was really cold.I don't recommend this restaurant. OMG! MUST EAT HERE!Came here with my gf about 10 mins after opening, I think I had the best brunch I've ever had in the city! Ordered the Benny with smoked salmon and potatoes, I was licking my fingers by the end of it. My gf ordered huevos rancheros, it was also incredibly delicious! To top it off ordered the french toast, it is a MUST! Their in house ceaser will wake you up! Incredibly friendly staff, very responsive and fast service. Definitely recommend everyone to give this place a shot!

Had very first time visit at the Ace for dinner with friends, we all felt welcomed and enjoyed delicious food. It was amazing how such flavours are created in a narrow tiny space. Our food was a bit delayed and staff offered a salad plate in the meantime very nice gesture that unfortunately doesn’t happen often these days!Would love to visit again, hopefully be able to book the big table by the window/entrance.

If you haven't already been to the Ace for Brunch, let me tell you, you are missing out. Although quite small and located on the west end of Toronto, the food the team behind the Ace are serving is no joke. They have a small and tight menu, but everything is full of flavours. Of all, the heuvos rancheros we had, were our favorite and a must order every time if you see it on the menu. 100% a go to for us.

Super intimate setting. Cocktails were amazing. We had the El Johnny Poncho, a sidecar, El Pelican and the El Vuelve la vida. All the apps had a generic title but had some kind of Mediterranean spin on them and were super delicious. Had the pork and chicken, how they transformed something so common and made it so juicy and tasty shows the talent of the chef. Great place for a date! Book a table now

Nice unique brunch spot. The duck and french toast were great! A bit difficult to book a reservation, place books up fast. Definitely recommend.
