Dinner last night was superb. Great choices on menu catering for all tastes. We had battered mushrooms haggis bites as starters both really nice. Then Chicken Mushroom stroganoff Bistro Stir Fry with chicken king prawns both really delicious just the right quantity too. Finished off with Biscoff cheesecakes cream yum! Service always very friendly efficient. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Very reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend. They do great scones cakes too if you just want a coffee/tea cake during the daytime.
Another really lovely meal. This restaurant never disappoints. Delicious chicken mushroom stroganoff then waffles with toffee sauce ice cream. Superb. Served by a lovely waitress who was friendly, helpful most efficient. Prompt service, nice atmosphere all at a very reasonable price. Impressive choice on the menu.
Following a recommendation from a local, stopped here for lunch. My husband had lasagne and chips and I had macaroni and chips. Both were well cooked and generous portions. There is a reasonable menu and also good for just coffee and cake. Would recommend if near Alford.
My self and my wife went to a monthly steak night in June but then returned in august with the family and again none of us were disappointed, steaks were all perfect and we even squeezed in some deserts and they just finished it off nicely! We will return again soon.

I went to the Bistro for some takeaway cake since I couldn't find any vegan options at the local bakery or cafe nearby. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing selection they had. I bought some cakes for friends who were visiting for afternoon tea. Thank you!
Lovely scone and tea at 3pm service was quick and staff excellent . We returned at 6 for evening meal. Had chicken stroganoff and chilli con carnoe both were excellent and roasting hot. Quick service and staff helpful Would recommend this place
When you stay in Alford there is not many choices for food so when you find somewhere it's got to be good. Thankfully we enjoyed takeaway fish and chips and breakfast and found both the be of high quality and service both helpful and friendly
Good all round experience. Very pleased we stopped off here for breakfast on our way through Alford. Friendly, helpful and welcoming, great food, clean and pleasant surroundings and very easy parking too.

Lovely food that tasted genuinely home made. Tasty and reasonably priced we loved it and eat there twice during our weeks holiday. Friendly staff which is always a bonus
