As a former waitstaff trainer and front end manager, I tend to take my first impression of a restaurant seriously. Is the atmosphere and staff welcoming? Does it immediately feel like somewhere you 'd like to spend time? And as my first experience unfolds, I allow the menu and the waitstaff to lead, meaning that I try to make as few assumptions as is humanly possible and just allow the meal to come as it does. Are recommendations made? Are the staff attentive to the dining experience of the guests? We had the most awesome server! My steak was like none I have ever tasted! While my meal was perfect...my son's food was cold. He was enjoying our time out so much he wouldn't let me say anything. I am sure once he moves there you will be seeing him a lot. Everyone was helpful and friendly!
I love The Alley on Main here in Downtown Murfreesboro. I love the atmosphere, the food and the waiters are excellent as well. Being that I am Mr. Murfreesboro I highly recommend TAOM to anyone moving to the area or if your a lifelong Boroan like myself.
The Alley in Murfreesboro is excellent! Great tasting food! Nice atmosphere, family oriented and staff were wonderful and knowledgeable about all their food! It had a 4 1/2 star rating so we went but I would give it more! And I did!
