We reserved a table for four adults at this restaurant on Saturday, February 8th. Both parties traveled two hours from different parts of the country to meet up. We are glad we chose this pub as the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and polite. The atmosphere made us feel like we had gone back in time, full of history. We would highly recommend a visit here.
What a lovely pub. Great atmosphere and steeped in history. Staff are really friendly and attentive and the food is first rate. Compliments to the chef. And to complete my visit they have a timeline. Lovely and we will revisit and we will recommend.
Plenty of character pleasant staff even though there was only one serving food as well as attending the bar granted it was a Monday lunchtime presentation and the food was excellent
