Such a lovely ambience to this place that we decided to have my husband and daughter’s birthday dinner there on the 5th of October (they share one). The staff are so warm, welcoming and helpful that even if the food was not that good, I would have still given them 5 stars, however one is drawn to this place just from the wafting smoke that seeps out on to Maple Road. The food was the best we have had in Surbiton. It is a place we intend on frequenting regularly.
Excellent venue run by the same folk who own The Sussex Arms near Twickenham Green. I first visited there a decade ago or so. And this place also has an most relaxed atmosphere with live 33⅓ rpm records playing on the bar.. There was a queue going out of the door to get served. Go if you can..
It's always a wonderful bonus to live in an area with a local pub that has a great selection of fantastic brew off the tap, and serve great food too! Had the BBQ baby back ribs and they were pretty darned good can't wait to come back for more
Their burger is 10/10! Served with super good chips and a delicious salad. Always busy and noisy btw. Benches outdoor to sit and enjoy the weather, located at the beautiful Maple Road.
