This pub/restaurant has a nice appearance and the staff are very friendly. However, the food was a letdown. The starter (Brie in Breadcrumbs) was small for the price of £6.95 and the fish and chips were barely edible. The batter on the fish was almost burnt and the chips seemed to be store-bought. They didn't have any vinegar available and it took nearly an hour for the main course to arrive. I expressed my dissatisfaction and they removed the cost of the main course from the bill. Overall, it was a disappointing evening.
The food was absolutely awful. Worst pub lunch I have ever had. I get that frozen food is used but it doesn’t have to taste frozen, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, chips and mushroom burger so bad we couldn’t eat them and left hungry. The server was great.
Very disappointed as food was cold and returned only to be heated up and it was fish. Creme Brule was like cold custard with no topping, no coffee available as machine was broken and no tea either. Restaurant very empty and no ambiance will not be revisiting.
We have visited this restaurant multiple times and have always had a positive experience. However, during our recent visit, the food was not served hot and the cauliflower cheese was undercooked. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant. Book a table now
The table was sticky and we waited 30mins to get our drinks. One member of staff was literally running around, the other was clearly new and didn't have a clue as to what she needed to do. Not sure we will go back, it was a very disappointing visit.
We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The waitress was excellent, even though I didn't catch her name, I left her a £5.00 tip. She was so friendly and cheerful, just as a great waitress should be. We will definitely be returning soon!
Disappointed with the Prawn Cocktail starter, lettuce very ‘sad’, prawns were hiding somewhere! The Pate was cut so thin it was almost like a slice of meat.
