We celebrated a friend's birthday here with a banquet of $70 per head. Let me start off by saying how good the pita bread is haha, our lamb and chicken were impeccable.. ridiculously tender. I wasnt a bit fan of the sweet and sour cheese (saganaki cheese honey oregano)... it had a very strange vinegar flavour which takes time to get accustom to.
Our bellies were very full and had a pretty decent time. My only complaint is how dark the restaurant was, and i wasnt too keen on the desserts, the walnuts filo pastry coffee cream, good for coffee lovers but im not a big coffee drinker so I wasnt a fan of this dish, it was also incredibly sweet. Easy to find Greek restaurant in Macleay St Potts Point. Had a group of 11 people for a Sunday lunch and would have chosen the Apollo's full Greek option which is a set menu lead by oven-baked lamb with 5 other courses for the whole table reasonably priced at $60 pp. However, with 2 vego's and a gluten-free diner we opted for a wider choice. All tastes were catered for and the generously proportioned meals are designed to be shared among the diners. Standout courses were the saganaki cheese honey and oregano starter, the bbq chicken and of course the lamb. Place was full and the service friendly. Would return either in a group or a couple.
The food was Devine and the atmosphere was fantastic. Everything was great until one of the waiters talked to me and had stepped away from my table when she said that I was too long. Although we spent over $ 200 there and order more food and drinks. Grief
Nobody should be spoken with this. What a shame I had such a good time until she came. She really has taken the experience.

Rich, strong Greek flavors presented on UPASSCASS. The restaurant was too full and loud for a pleasant food and they sat at the bar, which no mixed cross. Was not negative experience, but would not return if they had a choice.
Fantastic Greek restaurant I will continue to be happy and satisfied for these leaves. Delicious and beautiful staff and a great culinary experience. Amazing slow-boiled lamb and the Nagasaki awesome. We never want to go.
Excellent night atmosphere. The cheese in honey and oregano and the cauliflower with anchovy butter is a must. The staff is a bit rude and the dishes come in very miniature sections. Price travel overested

The food was beautifully cooked, authentically Greek but with a delightful twist. The service was exceptional. Thank you Apollo for a great night out.
