great place to satisfy a fish and chips, as the banan blossom is similar in the texture to fish, so makes a good replacement. I prefer less fishy substitutes in general, but still enjoy it here. there are enough sorts in scatters, sides and sauces that they can get something different on each visit. I brought some non-vegan family and friends here, and they enjoyed tasting the banana blossom. on the back there is a small seating area in the open, and also some picnic tables in front of the restaurant. on a sunny day it is perfect to eat fish and chips on castle hill (directly opposite).
I have eaten here several times with vegans, vegetarians, pescatarien and carnivores, in the old from our 9yr old enkelin to 75, and they have all really enjoyed eating. although, on the first look, the options can feel limited (fish chips or cakes), if they consider the various options of “fish”, including vegetarian vegans, various diligent, since it is very popular, so I always suggest booking.
four stars just because the pub is not completely vegan as we know, but their vegan fish chips is absolutely amazing. would recommend, and we will definitely come back when in the opposite!
this place is simply amazing. the eating is fantastic, the personal is ultra friendly and communicative, the spaces are sparkling clean and the prices are definitely worth money!
