Extremely well organised event. We felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived, the afternoon tea and drinks were served and all of the sumptuous offerings were explained. Attention to detail was amazing. It was our daughter’s 30th birthday celebration, the team put a sweet congratulations card on the table for her and even brought out a slice of cake with a candle in to make the occasion even more special. All of the staff were attentive and professional, and the amazing food tasted every bit as good as it looked. I cannot rate this venue highly enough.
We’ve been to the Assembly House many times both to stay and for afternoon tea. The standard is so high and each time is as superb if not better than before if that’s possible). This Beauty and the Beast theme was perfect for us loving all things fairytale and magical. New additions to the tea made for novel surprises. Service outstanding, many thanks indeed, and the venue is just superb.
Everything about the food, the place and staff was incredible. Had a lovely afternoon tea with family members for three birthdays at once and all of the staff accommodated every need or wish for the day! Very good value for money, will definitely be going again
