This place is truly one of my guilty pleasures. Since it takes me over an hour to get here, visiting is always a special occasion for me—one that I look forward to each time! We enjoyed an incredible meal filled with unique dishes that aren't typically found on a menu, as well as plenty of crowd favorites. My tea-infused cocktail was exceptional, and I savored the vegetable soup, which featured tomatoes like I’ve never tasted before. Everything about the meal was delightful. The chocolate orange hazelnut dessert was absolutely fantastic. I just wish the chocolate shop had longer hours to treat myself... Looks like I'll have to plan another visit sooner than expected. Thank you for another wo...

I ordered the mackerel, and it was absolutely scrumptious; the skin was perfectly crisp, and the seasoning was bold but not overwhelming. The chickpea and vegetable side dish was equally impressive, striking the right balance of acidity to brighten the dish without overshadowing the fish. My partner's sole was fantastic as well, though it was so delicious that I barely got a chance to try it. The front-of-house staff was friendly and welcoming, not even mentioning how underdressed we were for such a simple yet elegant restaurant. If I lived closer, I would definitely make this a go-to spot for a beautiful date night. Thank you for the warm hospitality and wonderful food!

Burdick's has been one of my favorite restaurants. Recent meal of Spanish mackerel was not that good. My huband's meal of adobo chicken was good but not great. One cocktail was good the other was not. Not as good as in past and not up to Burdick's high standards. Only one flavor of their homemade icecream that has been amazing in the past, but I couldn't eat since it had gluten in it. Usually they have multiple flavors. Wish they offered some gluten free treats like good gf rolls and more options for gluten free. Disappointing meal. Miss the beautiful outdoor area. Some of us are still high risk and really appreciated this.

A little culinary gem located in the picturesque New Hampshire town of Walpole, next to Burdicks Chocolates. The food was very good and service friendly and professional. We had the bone morrow and poached pear with goat cheese as an appetizer. Both were fantastic. For lunch we had roast chicken, Branzino, and hanger steak. They don’t have any truly adventurous menu offerings, but what they do make they execute masterfully. For dessert we hopped next door for some take out cakes that were phenomenal. Well worth a visit and if you are in the area don’t miss stopping here. Parking: Has a parking lot in front Book a table now

I returned to Burdick's for the October fest celebration. The food was an improvement over the regular menu, but I still found myself hoping for something better. We began with the potato pancakes, which were crispy on the edges but greasy in the middle. My sisters shared the sauerbraten and chicken livers, and they enjoyed those. I had the wurst plate, which was a bit disappointing. The issue was that the dishes were served in large bowls, with all the side items mixed in, creating a messy pile of food. I don't think we'll be back until they make some updates to the menu.

**Dining Experience: Dinner** **Price Range per Person:** $20–30 **Food Rating:** 3/5 **Service Rating:** 3/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 4/5 Overall, the dinner experience was decent. The food was satisfactory but not particularly outstanding, earning a middle-of-the-road rating. Service was also average, with no major issues but nothing that stood out either. However, the atmosphere was a highlight of the evening, providing a pleasant and inviting backdrop for our meal.

The atmosphere is both comfortable and elegant. The drinks are quite enjoyable. While the staff is friendly, they seem a bit understaffed, which can lead to a lack of attention to guests, especially considering the prices. My monkfish entrée was a bit chewy, and the Provençal preparation was overwhelmed by the excessive saltiness of the olives. The bread and wine were both good. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 5.
