Finally got a opportunity to give this place a try, after living nearby for so long. This place is great for breakfast to when you want omelettes, waffles, or eggs Benedict. Ordering is so easy on their website, you can place your order, make any special notes, and be able to pick up curbside in 30 min. I enjoyed my first experience so much, I went again the same week! Started waiting in line at 10:30am. At around 10:50am we were informed that it would be a 50 min wait. Fine, we accept that and continue waiting in line. Ordered at 11:13am. Omelet breakfast for 2. I have eaten here before and the food is slightly above average. You basically eat here for the environment and ambiance. 12:15 rolls around and still no food. my man and I have been here for a few years, but we have decided to try again for our jubilee this year. my only intention is that it is a real annoying to come here and be guaranteed parking. *Caution * I really want to love this place, but they have some work to do if they’re going to keep their business alive. The ambience is great, lots of options for seating, and I like that it’s a counter service. However, came here just before lunch on a weekday and waited about 1.5 hrs after ordering to get my food. The food was ok, but not worth the extreme wait. I don’t know who owns this place, but they need to step up to the plate and take responsibility for their restaurant. I’m usually someone who keeps my mouth shut, but this was one of my worst restaurant experiences I’ve probably ever had.2 stars because the staff was at least kind
The Avacado House is exactly just that, it 's a house that 's been converted into a restaurant that serves avacados . Jokes aside this establisment serves an array of breakfast/brunch options that satisfied ya boy 10fold! They 're busy and rightfully so, online ordering is an option if you can 't stay for that homely atmosphere. Indoor/outdoor seating is self seating optional, the living/dining room lived through the renovation and ironically the kitchen goes industrial. This place has started to decline. Understaffed, can never find parking because they don’t have enough. Quality of the food isn’t the same. Now you have to 30-45 mins for your order, on top off having to wait for a place to sit, after waiting to order. If they can’t handle the the clientele, then they should cut back on how many orders are taken at one time. Management should correct the issues and have the proper staff needed and compensate them appropriately.
waits to order in line 30 minutes. I understand it would wait. there are signs that inform them about a longer than usual waiting period. I ordered a waffel and egg sandwich. nothing nice. no changes to what is listed on your menu. I have a few hours later to eat mine. I would like to say the 2 hours were worth a waffel and eiersandwich were so wonderful I will go back. they weren't.
