We visited Aztecs on a Saturday night and were left somewhat disappointed by the experience. The restaurant was very, very busy and so that may have had something to do with the overall underwhelming experience. The person who served us seemed a little snappy and terse, but that may have been caused by the busy restaurant. Our meal took over 50 minutes to get to us, which came as a surprise, as we were never informed that there would be such a long wait. We ordered jalapeno poppers for our starters and it took 35 minutes for them to let us know that they had run out of them for the night. Once we got the food it was OK. The staff were super nice and personable. The guy who served us was super lovely and made excellent conversation (good ginger beer recommendation). The food was average for the price but due to the sheer business I can give some understanding. Meals averaged around $28 which is reasonable if it hadve been a little bit nicer! The drinks were super cheap, $15 margs and $5 large soft drinks!!!
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The drinks were nice and cold. All the dishes came out hot and were of great quality, with generous portions. I highly recommend this place! A big thank you to everyone, especially Hayley, Josh, Spike, and all the kitchen staff – a wonderful group of young people!
Went here on a Saturday night in April 2022. We enjoyed overall with the service fast and friendly. A nice buzz in the restaurant as was quite busy. The drinks were great and the food pretty good. We've had better Mexican but still enjoyed. Location wise a good location in the main area of Broadbeach a street or two away from the main mall.

We had an amazing meal at Aztec! We enjoyed Margaritas and Nachos—one seafood and one from the lunch special. The portion sizes were generous and offered great value. Everything was delicious! My only suggestion would be to add Illusion Margaritas to the menu.
Always have a great night here. My partner and myself dine here quit often as the food is amazing and can't go wrong with a bucket of coronas for $20. I would recommend for anyone looking for a Mexican feed.
