Today, while visiting Auburn, I stopped by The Baker the Cakemaker and was pleasantly surprised to find gluten-free brownies, blueberry muffins, cheese puffs, and even an 8-inch chocolate raspberry vegan gluten-free cake! The texture was fantastic—moist and delicious! However, it's important to note that due to shared display cases, there is a risk of cross-contamination. UPDATE: If you have celiac disease or a wheat allergy, I cannot recommend eating here. I ended up feeling very sick after having a gluten-free blueberry muffin. Outside of Germany where I was born and raised this place makes the best bread I have ever had and they also deliver to many of the local grocery stores. I need to make it into the store sometime to try their pastries but I have no doubt they are superb. I only wish they made fresh Brötchen. We are very lucky to have such an amazing bakery nearby.
I ordered red velvet and chocolate raspberry cupcakes with buttercream frosting for my son's 7th birthday. We were really looking forward to them, but we were quickly let down. These were, without a doubt, the worst cupcakes we've ever had. I spent $70 on 24 cupcakes, and unfortunately, I had to throw them away. I won't make this mistake again.

Everything is excellent.The variety of French bread,all mouth watering to the moist cookies with so much flavor.The vegetable sandwich is so delicious ,I keep ordering it,rather than try other choices.
I ordered a lemon meringue cake for a baby shower. It was delicious! Everyone at the shower raved about it. Lemon cake filled with lemon curd and frosted with toasted meringue. Yum!!
