On March 12, 2021, my two colleagues and I were asked to leave this pub because we were deemed too loud for a child in the nearby booth. An off-duty bartender removed us for laughing too loudly, which, in a pub on a Friday night, seems unreasonable. The complaint came from a child who was sensitive to loud noises, but it seems inappropriate to bring a child to a pub in the first place. This pub is not ideal for children, as even those without physical IDs were not allowed entry. The suggestion that everyone in the pub was quiet is inaccurate, and the bartender should acknowledge his mistake. It was unnecessary, arrogant, and seemed like an abuse of authority. I have frequented this pub every...

Horrible Experience. Staff are awful and full of bullies. To order a food staff staff was asking for an ID, when asked why I should show my ID when ordering the food, staff was a bully character and keep insisting me to show my ID card. I asked to give me clarification on why I should show my ID to order the food no clear justification given instead kept arguing even manager had no common sense as she kept supporting her staff. filled with Bunch of extremely unprofessional, unwelcoming, ignorant and bullies staff. Not recommending anyone to visit this place.

I went to this pub yesterday evening for dinner while in the area for work. The food was served hot and well-cooked in a timely manner, but there was a slight mistake with my order. When I brought this to the attention of the staff member who served me, he was very apologetic and offered to have my plate fixed in the kitchen. The corrected dish was brought out promptly and was delicious. Although I didn't catch his name, this is exactly how customer service should be done. Thank you.

This restaurant offers fair prices, delicious food, great selection of ales, friendly staff, and is family-friendly. It has a 5-star food hygiene rating and the pub itself is stunning. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy yourself, this is the place to be. I really enjoyed my experience here. Book a table now

The pub is decent but lacks some character. They serve decent food and beer at competitive prices. The service was mixed - the food waiter was very good, but the barmaids were not very friendly. It wouldn't be my top choice, but it worked for this particular occasion.

Andre was great, he was very hospitable and looked after us well. The manager (I assume, lady) was blunt and rude, clearly didn’t care if we were here or not. She also invaded our personal space. There was also drug deals going on it the toilet.

Rude, incompetent staff especially the landlady and concerning lack of adhering to sanitary and covid regulations/staff sneezing behind the bar without cleansing of hands as witnessed by multiple disgusted patrons. Avoid this place.

The food was very tasty, prices were affordable, and the staff (especially Paul) was extremely friendly! We had a great time and will definitely return next time we are in Great Britain. Book a table now

What can I say it's run by chavs for chavs. It's one of these pubs where you walk in through the door and exit by being pushed through the window.
