Where to start! Normally, if I have nothing nice to say, I tend to say nothing! However, the waste of money and rude comment at the end of a bad evening in this place, has been playing on my mind, so I am going to be honest and relay our experience as it happened. We were holidaying in the area, spotted this quaint looking pub and decided to go in for dinner. We received a friendly welcome from the lady working behind the bar. We sat out in their nice garden as the weather was fab. The lady came promptly, served our drinks and took our order. We had a busy day exploring and were all starving! Two of us ordered what the menu described as a pasta with prawns and seabass, in a creamy white wine...
OMG. Thank you for a wonderful evening. The welcome of the staff and the regulars was amazing. Then the food if you live close by, go and support the pub. Thank you again for making me so welcome. This is a traditional pub with traditional food. Loved the beer here, not had that one before. Also loved the steak and onion sandwich with chips! The bar woman was lovely and friendly and this is a dig friendly place. Our dog got a lot of attention I have to say! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

fantastic festive family dinner here on Christmas Eve. I'm sorry that my photo was added before the sweet (brukkoli, carrots and runners). the bratkartoffels deserve a special mention because they were absolutely beautiful.
The beer selection was disappointing, as they didn't carry Guinness. However, the service was excellent, receiving a 5/5 rating. The atmosphere left much to be desired, rating only a 2/5.
