Overall the atmosphere is really nice, the location looks like it would be really pretty at night, and the service was great. However the food felt expensive for what we ended up getting and I prefer other Mexican restaurants in the area. Out of everything we got, the shrimp taco was best. Maybe next time I'll try the beers, they seem to have a wide selection that they make.
I'm so happy to have authentic Mexican food so close to me. Everything we eat here is delicious. We love that there are always new things on the menu to try, and watching the Facebook page for updates on the menu and events like salsa dancing and tequila tastings! Everyone is always so nice!
As Mexicans, we highly recommend “queso birria”, although all dishes are sooo good, we really enjoyed everything, atmosphere, taste, etc. We felt nostalgic about our country and it’s amazing food. Now The battleground is our favorite Mexican restaurant.
Hands down the best AUTHENTIC Mexican food I’ve ever had. It’s definitely on the pricy side but definitely worth it.
