Today, to have lunch at 2.30 pm. Was greeted by anyone and found our own seats. Sat waited for the table to draw attention to the staff, which uses us after 5 minutes, and I decided to go forward to go to the front to find some menus. After his return to our table and decided what we wanted to eat, we waited for the staff to use our order to which we were ignored again. In all the business there were a couple so they could not miss us, and I made eye contact with the staff who brought them food, and saw that I gave the menus. Grief Grief After a few minutes we felt very undesirable, we stood up and went to the burger project to have lunch. Grief Grief Very disappointing...

Big fan of the German / Bavarian / Dutch cuisine, so that place was a bit disappointed. Schnitzel looked as it looked like a pre-pack (I am a commercial cook of trade). The potato salad was a small, al-dente and the Mayo on it was very generic. I think we should have guessed that it would not be an independent or eating experience when walking. But at a reasonably priced point, which makes it with more of the other finer food versions of a Bavarian restaurant in our trade fair city, we expected a small one for our strong definitive invoice
If you're looking for fine dinning in the Bavarian, you'll be disappointed. But what it does deliver, is genuine beer hall fare, cooked well, and served with steins of whatever beer you can think of (as long as it's German). Great sausages, pork, pickled cabbage, pretzels, and mountains of other food that's mostly German or German fusion (if that's a thing). Seriously takes me back to a summer day in the English gardens in Munich. The beer is as good and the flavours of the food transports you there in an instant. Love it.
Had afternoon drinks with friends which ended up costing us over $400 in total. It is the policy to only serve lemon lime bitters in 1litre stein so by the time you've drunk half, the rest is warm and watered down by ice. We went to the bar 2 minutes before happy hour (because we didn't know it was on) and the rather miserable lass on the bar made no effort to tell us it was on. This left a bitter taste in the mouth and we left soon after. OK place. Could be better. Book a table now
Wanted to try something different, so we tried the BAVARIAN TASTING PLATTER - Crispy Pork Belly | Haus-Sausages | Schnitzel | Sauerkraut | Red Cabbage | Creamy Mash Granny Smith Apple Compote | Bier Jus. Pork and Schnitzel were good, German sausages were cold in the middle and not very nice at all. Friendly restaurant manager did give us a reasonable refund due to the less than enjoyable German snags..!
My partner and I had dinner here last night and were very disappointed. The mac and cheese balls promise blue cheese and bacon but I couldn't see either in any of mine. My partner had a schnitzel which was soggy and didn't arrive with any accompaniments even though he had ordered onion rings. I had a burger which had a nice bun but the meat was dry and I could only eat half of it.We won't be going back.
ONE Our once fourteen days after dinner ... It's casually easy and while I hesitate to count this "authentic German food", we will never go disappointed here that or maybe always remain at our favorite of salad and protein - low carbohydrate flour. Grief Grief The Hunk of Pork Knuckle is definitely a two-meal affair to find a better German place, but then we have very efforted again ...
The burgers are terrible. Over-cooked, tasteless bun and you use Velveeta slices. Beef tasted a bit funky. Come on. Have you respect yourself and let some for your customers. Among the worst burgers in CBD, ESP for the price. Wow, it was bad. Book a table now
Ordered the cheese Kransky with the choice between two sides. Do not be fooled with the size, that was incredibly filled. The bar and the restaurant are relatively small, but the quality of the food and drinks is worthwhile to return.
