The Beach Hut is blessed by being located one of the nicest beaches on the east coast of Vancouver Island. The view from their location is simply amazing. The restaurant consists of some simple tables inside, accompanied by a large deck with outside seating. I am not sure if table side service is an option. The primary menu consists of Hot Dogs, hamburgers, fish & chips and ice cream (cones/shakes). I should note that there is a large number of ice cream flavour options. Over all the food portions and quality are good, for the price. It is a family favourite stop for a cone or a shake after a walk along the beach, or returning from Parkville beach. The Beach Hut is a standard style Ice Cream...

we stopped here as it was a convenient place to quench your thirst or take care of a grumbling stomach. We had Croquetten, it tastes very different to the ones I had in Holland and at home. It lacked a little flavour. The four of us that ate it, agreed. Do you want to know what it is? Our little Dutch secret . Line ups are a little long on sunny days so be prepared for it. They used to let your dog on the outside patio, not anymore.

Located off the Qualicum Beach, this is a tasty place to grab a bite. The menu is small, but can accommodate families very easily. The fish and chips (cod) were done well. The burger was very tasty.Beer is available.Soft-serve ice cream (with many flavors) is available.Service was great - very professional and courteous.

atmosphere and friendly staff. The first time I had a burger and fries which were tasty but nothing exceptional. The second time I tried their soup of the day which was surprisingly delicious. Overall, I would recommend this place for a casual meal with friends. Book a table now

My title says it all. The view from their patio is amazing. The fish and chips are really mediocre and are priced as high as the high quality fish and chips at the French Creek Marina Pub which, in our opinion is the best place for fish and chips

Right on the beach with nice tables and umbrellas , and also a protected area . Order at the counter and pick up when ready . Good fish and chips and smokies . A most comfortable happening place on a lovely day .

The only positive aspect of this restaurant is the large portion sizes. However, it is quite expensive for a chip truck. We ended up paying $23 for a 2 piece halibut and chips.

Really casual, very good fresh food, right on the beach sitting under Polynesian style umbrellas. Self-serve. Very inexpensive. Recommend the halibut burger. Book a table now
