I found this restaurant to be charming, so my friends and I decided to stop in for some drinks and a meal. The drinks and food were good, although no better than what you can find at other restaurants in New York at similar prices. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. We were shocked at how poorly we were treated. They never checked on us and even forgot to bring a meal and cocktail for one person in our group, despite us being a party of three. While spontaneously searching for a dinner spot in Williamsburg based on Google reviews, we decided on The Bedford. Despite not being too hungry, we ordered pizza and tomato soup, and to our delight, the food was delicious—our plates were clean with no leftovers. The restaurant has a cozy and clean ambiance, coupled with friendly service. The prices are reasonable considering the delightful taste of the food. I highly recommend The Bedford for a cute date or a casual catch-up with friends.
Are you ready for the 411? Here we go...we have been here several times for brunch and dinner. It's more comfort food and has always been delicious. I have even stopped here to pick up dinner for the family. The staff if courteous and always give great customer service. I have never seen it overly crowded but just enough that it's not loud. After a day of shopping or just walking around Williamsburg this is a nice spot to just relax and enjoy.
We had a large party, and while the food was good, the service was really variable. I think a small party would have been fine. The drinks were good, but getting refills was iffy. I will try again with just one friend not 20. I really liked the music and the vibe.

Went on a Friday evening. Pretty empty how I like it) wanted my burger med well but it came raw. They completely made a whole new burger and it was really good! The fries were nice too!
Their mac and burger is easily in the top 3 best burger I've ever had. Service is always great and food never disappoints. Strong recommend for locals and out of towners.
