"Eggs came over cooked, replaced them but it was raw. No salt on the food, bread was barely grilled, bacon needed more frying. Service was bland. A solid waste of £40."

Unfortunately our experience here did not live up to expectations. The food was disappointing underdone pizza and questionable vegan burger that my mum couldn’t finish. Drinks were ok but nothing special and atmosphere completely dead on a Saturday night. Waiter was friendly and service was quick but we wouldn’t return for food as there are plenty better establishments nearby that you could better spend your money. Would probably return for a drink but I would recommend the Treehouse or one of the many pubs nearby for a superior cocktail.

we booked a table for two to the breakfast. the restaurant was empty except a table with a family. we were immediately shown next to the family the table. difficult quiet and why we get up when there is enough space? the food was significantly moderate. pale, cold muffins with chopped eggs and mushrooms, crushed in a warm Hollandaise sauce. the server was polite, but I had to ask twice for a glass of water. it was an ok-outing, but could have been better when eating was more appetit.

I recently fought here for lunch. extensive menu so we ask for brunch options. my chorizo and sweet potato hash was great. many chili. my friend chose the eier mushrooms. we wondered why there were two prizes. it turns out it was for one or two muffins. my friend chose the smaller option and she was rewarded with what the smallest muffin we both saw. it tasted nice, but it was the smallest part. but good ice creams! although not very busy, the service was a tad slow.

While there might be nothing revealing about the beech tree, it means location, atmosphere and the tag menu that there is something clever for everyone. eating is solid, with enough choice to see them through a few return visits, and the price is fair. free wlan, a library to keep the little happy, and homemade cakes and coffee in the bar area, and the beech tree is on the way to tickle all boxes.
