I have previously had a great experience at The Beeswing for lunch, although I found it to be a bit expensive for a pub on an estate. Unfortunately, my most recent visit over the weekend was quite disappointing. The tandoori chicken I ordered was mostly coleslaw, with very little naan and actual chicken, making me feel like I was being ripped off for £14. My daughter's standard burger, priced at £11.50, was extremely tough to chew, even after dipping it in the gravy provided for kids. We visited this lovely pub for lunch after my Auntie had been with her friends recently and what a treat it was . We were greeted by a lovely man called Gareth who was so attentive and friendly during our visit . The drinks order was taken promptly and arrived quickly . The food was of great quality and was piping hot and tasty . We were asked several times if everything was ok and we are planning to return for a pre Christmas family meal . I hadn't been to this pub in years, but it's a fantastic spot located outside of the town center. The manager was welcoming and the bar staff were excellent. We were served by a man named Dean, who was very friendly and made us feel at home with his banter. The food was delicious - my husband ordered the gut buster burger and was blown away by how large it was. It seemed to be a popular venue, as there was also a private party taking place. We will definitely be returning in the future.
The Beeswing is a lively and popular neighborhood pub that offers a diverse menu of delicious food, including a fantastic Sunday roast. They also have a great selection of beers, ciders, and wines, all served with fast and friendly service. The staff at the bar are welcoming and helpful, creating a great atmosphere. I visited the Beeswing on the 20th April as this establishment were providing the food after the sad funeral of a friend. I cannot thank the staff enough for providing some gluten free and vegan food options. They went out of their way to accommodate for this at short notice and the quality of the food was amazing. Very many thanks to all staff involved.
Ordered a pizza from the mobile van in the car park and popped into the pub for a pint.Looked very good decor and very clean. Few people in there although early. Served by friendly bar staff and enjoyed the drink. We will pop in again but for longer next time.
I thought the menu was good and reasonably priced. I thought the chef was very attentive and asked us how we would like certain things. Our choices were accommodated. Would visit again and recommend.
I visited on a sunday for lunch. The food is always good quality. I was also pleasantly surprised by the salad. It was full of flavour!
