heard by fritten, home of treacle mines? probably not, but this pleasant Kentish village boasts the bell and jorrocks, which thanks to sean and rosie has always been the warmest and most welcoming families pubs. with the addition of steve ayre in the kitchen, the pub offers a menu that has never disappointed their correspondents! local ingredients, generous portions and a well-designed seasonal menu, but all served on a good honest way without the effects that the experience in some of the areas, established gastropubs in short, it is now a good pub that is going to serve great food. the rabbit casserole with beet root chips...read more
A family gathering of 14 for a birthday dinner. A wide selection ordered from menu. Fully enjoyed by all. Excellent food and despite variety of order all served very quickly. Shame 5 stars is the limit. 14 highly satisfied customers.
